The RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan had a telephone talk with the Speaker of the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko.

Issues concerning the holding of the sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the RF Federal Assembly were discussed. Underlining the importance of the joint sitting, Ara Babloyan proposed her to postpone the term of holding the sitting scheduled on June 5-8 in Murmansk, taking into consideration the fact that on June 7 the Parliament of Armenia will discuss the RA new Government programme, and before that discussions are also expected in the RA NA Factions and Standing Committees.
